Friday evening in New York saw the return of Devin Haney, but his performance made no impression on too many critics, including Dillon Danis.
Haney was shocked in April last year by Ryan Garcia, although the result after a failed drug test was destroyed into a NO match.
'The Dream' would look to bounce back to Fatal Fury in Times Square on 2 May, where Haney and Garcia would share the map next to Teofimo Lopez.
The two former opponents were not too much to stimulate fans about the prospect to see them go the head to head for the second time after a disappointing evening of action.
Dillon Danis, who is known to criticize others when he gets the chance, focused in particular Haney after the 26-year-old drove an overwhelming victory.
Dillon Danis mocked Devin Haney After the fight with Jose Ramirez enters the running for the worst of 2025
Via various messages on social media Dillon Danis pleased pleasure in Devin Haney's silly performance in his return to the ring after more than a year out.
'The Dream' beat Jose Ramirez with a broad margin, with score cards from 119-109, 119-109 and 118-110 all to his advantage, but neither of them landed something important.
After the conclusion of the Co-Main event, Haney VS Ramirez had emerged as a new candidate for the worst fight of the year.
After both men were combined for a total of 503 thrown bumps, so that they were put in the history books as the third lowest total on Compubox for a 12-round competition, Ryan Garcia and Rolando Romero went to surpass them with only 490 bumps thrown.
At least, the main event produced one highlight when Romero Garcia dropped in the second round before producing the upset gain, but the same could not be said for Haney's fight.
Danis has posted several times to mock the decorated American after he remained unbeaten by 33 pro fights.
“I want to thank Devin Haney for the miracle, my boy was in a wheelchair for 34 years, he finally got up to turn off the TV”

Dillon Danis criticized boxing as a whole after fatal anger in Times Square
Dillon Danis, whose only professional boxing match was a loss for Logan Paul in October 2023, where he was disqualified in the sixth round, the sport as a whole was criticized.
Despite the spectacle of fatal anger in Times Square and the names involved, the card became a disappointment that may have killed the hype around a rematch between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia.

Danis continued to compare boxing with MMA when he said that the Bantam weight champion of the UFC would be able to work quickly from all the competitors involved in the largest matchups of the night.
“Boxing is a joke when Merab Dvalishvili could walk back-to-back by all 6 boys in the main event, no rest, and finish them all in less than 30 minutes.”
