Spain -star Dean Huijsen has moved to cool rumors that he could leave Bournemouth in the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid is reportedly in the race to sign the 20-year-old defender in the coming months after an impressive first season in the Premier League.
Huijsen is always present at the Los Blancos Transfer Radar since the beginning of 2025, after trying to have tried and not to recruit him a few years ago, and the La Liga Giants reportedly made contact with his camp about a possible deal.
The highly appreciated defender has previously had his consciousness of interest from Madrid and his pride admitted that he is connected to the club.
However, the most important problem seems to be focused on Bournemouth's asking price for the La Roja Center Back, with a release clause of € 60 million in its current deal.
That is far beyond what Real Madrid is willing to pay for a player with a limited top experience and various Premier League freeders have also stopped the fight to sign him.
According to an update from Diario AS, Chelsea is the only club that likes to activate his exit clause, and they have made a strong pitch for the representatives of Huijsen, who tends to switch to Stamford Bridge.
Reports from TBR Football Claim Real Madrid have sent scouts to the UK to check in at Huijsen and Bournemouth teammate Milos Kerkez possibly summer options.
Despite the dazzling rumors, Huijsen did not remove the speculation, with a strong comment about where he sees his current status.
“I think I'm pretty relaxed. I'm just a Chill Guy, just like my party,” he told Sky Sports after scoring in Bournemouth's victory over Arsenal, via the metro.
'I don't really think about it [the rumours] Too many. I just go to training every morning.
“We have a great group, great staff, great everything at the club and I just enjoy my football, enjoy myself.
“At the moment I just have fun playing football and it's going well, so I'm really happy.”
