Manchester United was able to see a huge bid that was submitted by a club in Saudi Aarabia while looking to land the signing of Bruno Fernandes – but they have no desire to sell
Saudi -Arabic Outfit Al -Hilal is ready to submit a large selection of Manchester United while they land to Bruno Fernandes this summer -but the Premier League side has no plans to sell.
This year Fernandes has been a radiant light in Old Trafford and could be the subject of a huge offer. The Saudi Pro League club has the money for a mega signature after Mohamed Salah decided to stay in Liverpool, with conversations about chasing the Portugal star.
It is understood that last year there was a first contact between the two parties before Fernandes signed a new contract to keep him in Manchester until 2027. Reports in the Middle East, although the representatives of Fernandes on Monday interviews with Al-Hilal had discussions with Al-Hilal.
The Daily Mail reports that there has been no formal offer from Al-Hilal and, if even one was submitted, the Manchester-Outfit has no plans to sell Fernandes. The 30-year-old closes 40 target contributions this season, after he scored 19 times and had delivered 18 assists.
Al-Hilal is one of the most important outfits in the Saudi Pro League and are very on the market for a selection framework after he has missed Salah. They want to get a big name this summer before the club World Cup, but must also find a new manager.
Only last month did Ruben Amorim reject the possibility that his Talisman left for Real Madrid at the end of the season – underlines his interest as captain of the club and the leading light. He said: “No, it's not going to happen. He's not going anywhere because I have already told him!
“I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players to continue with us. He is 30, but he is still so young, because he plays 55 games every season. Between assists and goals he is at least 30, so he is the type of player we want here and he doesn't go anywhere.”
Fernandes has revealed that he could have left the club in the summer before he had conversations about his next move. The playmaker sought clarity about where and how she viewed him in Old Trafford before he received reassuring about his status in the club.
“They said what they wanted from me,” he said. “I just asked if they still see me as part of the future of the club or not. At that time I also spoke with (Erik) ten hag. He was very clear with me – the club was very clear with me – that they thought I would be a large part of this rebuilding. I thought we could be successful.”
