Victor Osimhen is connected to a large number of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea and it seems that his future will indeed be decided very quickly
Manchester United could lose the signing of Victor Osimhen this summer with the Nigerian set to call his future. The Napoli attacker was one of the most sought after attackers in world football last summer.
The Red Devils – as well as Premier League -Rivalen Chelsea – were both connected to him, but neither were able to agree with a deal with Napoli. Saudi side Al-Hilal was also interested, only to reject Osimhen their offer.
In the end Turkish side Galatasaray concluded a surprise loan agreement for his services and agreed to pay £ 7.6 million for the season. Osimhen enjoyed a brilliant season in Istanbul with 33 goals during the campaign.
In that form, United and Chelsea has retained their interest in the attacker, but it seems that they remain frustrated again. According to Turkish Outlet Milliyet, Galatasaray has succeeded in putting together the fee of £ 56 million that they have to pay to sign him permanently.
Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk also tried to intervene after he promised Osimhen that he could stay in Galatasaray for another season and play in the Champions League. The club would not stand in the way of him as an offer to return to Europe in 2026 was submitted.
The only thing that remains is that Osimhen gives his approval to a move and on the basis of his recent comments he would be open to stay. He recently said: 'It's a great feeling.
'It's great that they are [young fans] Be inspired by looking at me that they wear the masks. I thank God. I had not seen much before I came to Galatasaray.
“Everyone who shows so much love, the children shout at the tunnel output … I will continue to make them proud. The team wins, I score … I want to continue as they know me. If I can inspire the children of my teammates, it makes me very happy.”
