Liverpool Target Xavi Simons is confronted with a nightmares situation at RB Leipzig after he has been told that he cannot 'fulfill' a major role in the club. The Dutch midfielder has been identified as a potential summer addition for the recently crowned Premier League champions.
It has been claimed that Liverpool prepares a £ 51 million bid for the former asterisk of Paris Saint-Germain in front of the window. It is not the first time that he has been associated with a move to England, where Manchester United and Manchester City are praised for Simons as potential lovers.

“He tried it, but there is still room for improvement. I am happy with the way he dealt with a constructive conversation. We both would have liked things to go differently. I will not make it [the captaincy decision for the forthcoming match] only. “
The merit Simons, he responded in the best possible way in his next outing – two assists on a 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich. That implementation sees its record on ten goals and eight assists in all competitions.
Simons has just over two years on his contract with his current side. Earlier this year he wrote only a permanent deal after a loan agreement in 2023.

Asked about his future earlier this season, he said: “I am still a young player, I have a lot of dreams and the club knows that. But at the moment the most important thing for me is to play well in the upcoming games.” He added: “Then we have the international competitions, and then we sit down and see what happens.”

Leipzig and Simons will be back in action this Saturday while taking on Werder Bremen in their penultimate Bundesliga match. They remain two points from the Champions League places.
