Liverpool will be happy to strengthen their team this summer while trying to defend their Premier League title and possibly sign a number of players from the rivals
Liverpool has placed Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez at the top of their summer list, despite the interest in Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves. The Reds would like to sign a new left back for next season and have searched Europe for options.
Some contenders have emerged within the Premier League for Liverpool, with Ait-Nouri and Kerkez becoming two of the most accomplished fullbacks in the division in recent seasons. But it seems that Arne Slot and the Anfield decision -makers have a preference.
According to the Telegraph, Kerkez is their number one target for the Summer Window despite having scouted Ait-Nouri a number of times. Manchester City is said to be interested in the Wolves defender.
The position of the Midland Club on the Algerian also makes the prospect of a deal in the immediate future difficult tricky. Wolves prepare an offer of a new contract to keep the full-back of £ 50 million in Molineux after this summer.
Ait-Nouri has two more years about his current deal, with former club Angers holding a 50 percent clause in every future deal with a clause of 50 percent. But it is said that they are reportedly expected to buy it out for a fee of approximately £ 9 million and hope that they will agree on a long -term stay before the preseason.
That would give Liverpool a priority to a deal for Kerkez. The Hungarian joined Bournemouth of Eredivisie Side AZ Alkmaar in 2023, but this season shone with two goals and six assists in the Premier League.
