PSG 2-1 Arsenal (agg 3-1): Fabian & Hakimi score to punch ticket to Munich

Fabian Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi were on goal when Paris Saint-Germain Arsenal defeated 2-1 to hit their ticket to the Champions League final thanks to a 3-1 total victory.

Match report

Spain Ace Fabian broke the impasse in the first half and Hakimi's well -approached effort with just under 20 minutes transferred the draw from Arsenal.

PSG, who also saw Vitinha expect a controversial fine, had a few late nerves when Bukayo Saka reduced the overdue arrears and then missed a golden chance shortly afterwards.

But in the end the men of Luis Enrique were those who celebrate, and they can now focus their attention from the Munich Pronuncup against Inter on 31 May.

A series of Gianluigi Donnarumma saves Arsenal remotely in the early fairs. Declan Rice was already spread wide of six meters by the time that the keeper of Italy denied Gabriel Martinell and forced a fierce attack by Martin Odegaard around the post.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, however, struck the woodwork with a sensational curled attempt when PSG offered a memory of the threat they bear, even without Ousmane Dembele, who started on the couch.

And for all the early edition of Arsenal, PSG made the breakthrough when Fabian held on to a poor Thomas Partey clearance, avoiding Martinelli and saw a left-wing strike bending in bad from William Saliba.

Donnarumma has tipped the target -bound corner of Saka over the top before he then denied the beautiful bending effort of the English bait from the right of the area, while Arsenal penetrated a level.

Treble-Chasing PSG had an opportunity to bring the 2-0 when Myles Lewis-Skelly was rated hard to have treated Hakimi's shot in the area after referee Felix Zwayer visited the VAR monitor, but Raya saved the weak spot kick from Vitinha's weak spot kick low.

But Hakimi bent brilliant in the right corner after a series of arsenal accidents in their own criminal area to extend their aggregated lead.

Saka ended up at the second attempt by Leandro Trossard's center and then miserably flared over the six-year box when Arsenal was short.

4-Arsenal is now not in the progress of each of their last four Major Cup-Halve Final (2020-21 Europa League, 2021-22 League Cup, 2024-25 League Cup, 2024-25 Champions League) -hun longest run in this phase of matches of matches. Stumble. pic.twitter.com/jbpigx4mki

Data Debrief: Fabian Off the Champions League Mark

This fixture marked the 46th Champions League performance by Fabian, but somewhat surprising, the Spain International registered its first goal in Europe Premier competition.

That is why he became the first Spanish player to get his first Champions League goal in the semi-final phase, while he is the 12th other player who scores for PSG in the competition this season.

Kvaratskhelia was in desperate bad luck not to open the score when he hit the mail prior to the opening goal and that was the 10th time that this season PSG hit the woodwork in the Champions League-de Joint of every club in the competition.

Moreover, it was the 36th time in all the competitions they did this, where only Barcelona (37) did this more in Europe's Big-Five competitions.

Arsenal missed reaching the final in a competition representing their 100th road in the Champions League, with the Gunners being the seventh side to hit that milestone.

Saka's goal offered them hope. It was his sixth in the competition this season, most in a single edition of a Gunners player, who defeated the five of Olivier Giroud in 2016.

But Saka's great Miss shows that Arsenal was unable to set up a grandstand final, despite registering 3.14 expected goals at PSGs 1.74.
