In the second stage of the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain completed a double victory over Arsenal in both games, and only went on for the second time in the history of the Champions League to the Champions League final, the first in the 2019-2020 season.
At the start of the season, PSG's star player Kylian Mbappé left the club on a free transfer to become a member of Real Madrid.
