Former UFC Light Heavyweight Title Challengers Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. Almost in a recent fight at the UFC Performance Institute. But according to Hill, he was not the one who initiates hostility between the two UFC Azerbaijan opponents.
Hill and Rountree will give an intriguing map on June 21 in Baku, Azerbaijan, with two of the most powerful contenders of the light heavyweight division. Both hunters still want to get a title shot against the winner of the expected Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira Rematch.
In a matchup that has been moved several times, Hill and Rountree are ready for war next month. But prior to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Card, the two light heavyweights shared a tense moment in the same environment, prepared for the fight.

Hill is no stranger to be tense with some of his rivals in Las Vegas. In anticipation of Pereira's matchup with Ankalaev on UFC 313, Hill and Pereira almost came in a full-on fistfight at the UFC PI with a viral incident.
According to Hill, a similar moment happened between him and Rountree.
During a recent interview with the SchMO, Hill shared a tense moment between himself and Rountree on the UFC PI prior to their upcoming five -round fight.
“The only time we had an interaction was it weird,” Hill explained. 'So I was in the [UFC PI]Entered the dressing room and I will say 'what' there is to everyone. And I walked into the dressing room and he is like: “Man, you really don't like it, right?” … and I was like what? And he was something like “you really can't enjoy me, is it?”
“I had something like” I don't even know you, we didn't even have a conversation. “
“It is almost as if he has to build me up like this villain or this person he hates, what is fine with me, but when you start to set the energy of the UFC Staff and S -like we can't get together, or something will happen, you will not do -so what is the point of that? It's strange to me.”
Hill and Rountree had to give UFC Kansas City head last month before the fight was informed for weeks. The event was led by a welterweight matchup between top candidates Ian Machado Garry and Carlos Prates, where Garry achieved a unanimous decision win.
Rountree has not fought anymore since he lost to Pereira on UFC 307 last October in his first career UFC Light Heavyweight Title Shot. In the meantime, Hill wants to bounce back after a TKO loss for Jiri Procazka on UFC 311.

In the meantime, Pereira raised eyebrows on Wednesday when he tweeted a critical message about Dana White and the UFC buyer, who possibly retired after tense negotiations. But it turns out that Pereira was not the one who placed the tweet and later clarified that his social media accounts were hacked by an unknown party.
Pereira and Ankalaev were verbally corresponded to an immediate rematch shortly after UFC 313. Since then, Ankalaev has questioned Pereira's wish to fight and hints to the UFC -Superster who possibly hangs the gloves.
For now, Pereira remains on track to stand against a light heavyweight title brake match. But Hill and Rountree have the chance to skip the line with a striking version this summer.
