Jamahal Hill details awkward run-in with Khalil Rountree Jr. ahead of UFC Azerbaijan that left former champion confused

Hill is no stranger to be tense with some of his rivals in Las Vegas. In anticipation of Pereira's matchup with Ankalaev on UFC 313, Hill and Pereira almost came in a full-on fistfight at the UFC PI with a viral incident.

According to Hill, a similar moment happened between him and Rountree.

During a recent interview with the SchMO, Hill shared a tense moment between himself and Rountree on the UFC PI prior to their upcoming five -round fight.

“The only time we had an interaction was it weird,” Hill explained. 'So I was in the [UFC PI]Entered the dressing room and I will say 'what' there is to everyone. And I walked into the dressing room and he is like: “Man, you really don't like it, right?” … and I was like what? And he was something like “you really can't enjoy me, is it?”

Pereira and Ankalaev were verbally corresponded to an immediate rematch shortly after UFC 313. Since then, Ankalaev has questioned Pereira's wish to fight and hints to the UFC -Superster who possibly hangs the gloves.

For now, Pereira remains on track to stand against a light heavyweight title brake match. But Hill and Rountree have the chance to skip the line with a striking version this summer.
