Benoit Saint-Denis released the air after Mateusz Gamrot accused him of rejecting a fight on UFC 315.
UFC Lichtweight Competier Benoit Saint-Denis wants to break the first losing Skid of his fighting career this Saturday at UFC 315. After he originally had to be confronted with Joel Alvarez to kick off the main map, Alvarez withdrew last weekend due to an injury, so that the UFC was booked to replace a short-nothing to the Face Saint-Denis.
Saint-Denis will be confronted with an important downgrade in competition, on paper, on UFC 315. Two-fight UFC veteran Kyle Prepolec will be aware of Days' cancellation with Saint-Denis, a large company after a 0-2 run in the octagon.
While the UFC matchmakers clambed to find a replacement opponent for Saint-Denis, Mateusz offered Gamrot to perform before Saint-Denis had rejected the offer.

Benoit Saint-Denis accuses Mateusz Gamrot van Liegen about a short-notice offer on UFC 315
Gamrot went on Saint-Denis in a recent social media tirade and label Saint-Denis a 'coward' for rejecting a recent fighting offer. Gamrot was briefly linked to a potential rematch with Arman Tsarukyan on an upcoming card before Tsarukyan dropped it out while waiting for a top 5 opponent.
Fight fans scolded Saint-Denis after the allegations of Gamrot had surfaced and wondered why he would rather encounter an opponent with a lower caliber in the short term against a top 15 matchup with gamrot. But according to the French star, Gamrot's tweet was misleading.
During his UFC 315 Media Day press conference, Saint-Denis explained why Gamrot did not receive this weekend in Montreal.
“I think everyone knows me now, if he could have done it in Montreal, it would have happened,” “But what I wanted to do was fight in Montreal. Those three weeks waiting, or a month to have another opponent was an option I could have had, but I didn't even discuss it [Gamrot] With my manager because I told him that I am ready, I fight, and if the UFC wants to [put me against] Gamrot in two weeks I will do my work on Saturday night and I'll be there in two weeks.
“But now I concentrate on my opponent, to fight this Saturday, I came here … If you can't fight on Saturday night, you're not welcome.”
At the moment Gamrot did not respond to Saint-Denis's comments. Gamrot has not fought last September since a loss of Dan Hooker on UFC 305.
Belal Muhammad responded to Colby Covington's bizarre joke for UFC 315
UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad had an interesting Vechtweek this weekend for his first title defense against Jack della Maddalena. Only a few days away from UFC 315, Colby Covington drew a bizarre joke on Muhammad from far away at the UFC Pi, which resulted in Muhammad that covington hit like an 'idiot'.
Covington opened a fridge at the UFC Pi, saw a bag with the name of Mohammed labeled and brought the food to a slightly different place. Fight fans were not amused by Covington's newest antics, because the triple title Challenger tries to get a fight for later this year.
Muhammad earned the Welterweight title by beating Leon Edwards last July on UFC 304. In the meantime, Covington Back-to-Back fights have lost to Edwards and Joaquin Buckley since a UFC 272 victory over Jorge Masvidal.
