Gilbert Burns has offered his unique perspective at the UFC 315 Main Event.
Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad will set his belt on the line against Jack della Maddalena in the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on Saturday evening.
Both men have collected victories over top candidate Gilbert Burns during their rise by the 170 pound rangs.
So nobody is better placed to predict how their UFC 315 crashes with playing.

Gilbert Burns predicts UFC 315 Van Streek
Burns has difficulty making his official prediction for the fight between two of his old rivals.
'Durinho' originally avoided Muhammad to win, but now he thinks we will be upset on UFC 315.
“I know it's going to be a close fight, but I gave a bit of a lead,” Burns told Fighting.
“Jack is so underestimated. Jack is so good. I remember that I did that fight, it was very difficult to find the distance in the striking. He is good. He gets very hard, has good boxing combinations, good footwork. He fights exactly the same in both views.
“I broke his arm in the first round with a body skirt and he kept fighting throughout the fight. I got his back, couldn't do much. I took it down, couldn't do much. I did a lot of good things, but he had an answer for almost everything I did.
“I just saw a few videos from Jack della Maddalena who put Craig Jones asleep. He struggles a lot with Craig Jones and trains a lot with it [Alex] Volkanovski. I just think that guy is very good, super underestimated.
“I think that fight is very, very close. I was a bit more for Belal Mohammed, only because of the experience, training with Khabib [Numagomedov]Have many main events and know how to win fights.
“It's a kind of 50/50 this fight … I finally lean a bit to Jack della Maddalena.”
What is the next step for Gilbert Burns?
Burns has not fought since the suffering of a unanimous decision defeat against Sean Brady in September 2024.
The 38-year-old is currently running a three-fighter-losing skid in his comeback at UFC Vegas 106.
Burns will be in the main event on 17 May by 17-0 Prospect Michael Morales.
A victory would push the former Challenger title back into the mix, but a loss will almost certainly put an end to his hope to become UFC champion. Do not be surprised if he withdraws with loss against Morales.
