‘It’s like dreaming’ – Kvaratskhelia celebrates reaching Champions League final

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24) had long been in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain before he eventually signed from Napoli in the January transfer window for a fee of € 70 million Plus Add-us.

It was a transfer that PSG had hoped to complete in the summer when they reportedly agreed personal conditions with Kvaratskhelia, but were opposed to resistance of the Napolitans, who, under the new manager Antonio Conte, had a different scudetto challenge with the Georgian wing player.

Napoli, however, changed tact for the winter transfer window, and a deal for the winger that was intended to replace Kylian Mbappé (26) became feasible for Les Parisiens. And his arrival fell together with the indictment of the club to a second Champions League final.

Speaking with CBS Sports after the semi-final victory of the Champions League over Arsenal, Kvaratskhelia expressed his joy about the success he has found in the French capital. “It feels great. It has been [moving] So fast, everything. I'm already in the Champions League final, it's like dreaming. I think this is about the hard work, trust, the process, and I am really happy that I am here with these guys and this club. I feel very good here. “

PSG will take the field on 31 May to play Internazionale in Munich.
