Barcelona director and right hand to President Joan Laporta Enric Masip has suggested that Real Madrid's strategy to complain about civil servants perhaps pays dividends for Los Blancos. Masip laid statements prior to a charity tournament in Barcelona and also had a number of long complaints about the referee in Milan.
A furious Barcelona returned to the Catalan capital, almost to a man who complains about the display of Szymon Marciniak in the Giuseppe Meazza. Those frustrations continued the next day, with President Joan Laporta also broadcast his displeasure about decision -making. Marciniak has since denied comments that he reportedly made about Barcelona in the aftermath, while Inter had their pleasure on the costs of Barcelona.
Masip itself was more than willing to comment on the issue on Thursday morning.
“Already in the third minute, after a strong challenge on Lamine, the referee goes very abruptly to the couch, says Flick to go aside and starts threatening, I think it is Arajo. I, after having seen what happened to this referee in Milan, and who was sometimes no reason for it, everyone should have the same judgment.
“There are ex-Real Madrid players who told me that the Lamine was Yamal Penalty Stonewall,” Masip noted the press.
A lot has been said in recent months about Real Madrid's complaints about civil servants, especially in the run-up to the Copa del Rey final, where they moved to have the referees changed before the game. Masip did not mention Los Blancos, but suggested that their continuous protests against officials might have an impact.
“We have a coach who orders his players to try not to protest. You have to avoid certain things. There are clubs that they may have managed to influence things with constant protests. That is not the case with Barca, and we will not talk about the referees because everyone could complain,” he complained.
“It is true that it is a decisive match, and a decisive game like what happened to us when we were eliminated from the Champions League in Milan, where the famous handball was and the non -rated penalty sends you out. These are small details, and eventually someone can tell you that we would not have made the difference between one team and another.”
All eyes will now be on the referee on Sunday, with Alejandro Hernandez Hernandez who is in charge of what a decisive collision will be for the fate of La Liga. The two largest clubs in Spain will undoubtedly again cause the pressure on the buildings in the build -up.
