Arsenal duo Hurtig and Ilestedt to depart

Lina Hurtig and Amanda Ilestedt will leave Arsenal women at the end of the season, the club has confirmed.

The Swedish internationals could make their last performances this weekend for the Gunners against Manchester United in the Women's Super League, although both will also be available for the Champions League final against Barcelona on 24 May.

Forward Hurtigt made the switch to North London of Juventus before the 2022-23 campaign, but has passed an injury hit spell and missed this season for personal reasons.

She scored seven goals in 36 performances for the club, including one in five WSL matches this season.

I wish you good luck in the future, Lina

Thanks for everything

This season, Ilestedt only made three WSL performances, after he had spent time on maternity leave, while she and horribly leave after they won women's cup medals in 2023 and 2024.

Academy Product Teyah Goldie, who has been on loan at Championship winners London City Lionesses, is also ready to leave at the end of the campaign, after he has made six first team performances for the Gunners.
