Ruben Amorim was seen with a plaster on his knuckles after the rest of the Europa League victory of Manchester United.
The Red Devils were 1-0 behind the break after the wreath of Mikel Jauregizar for Athletic Bilbao.
That goal brought the visitors back into the draw, although United still led 3-1.
Amorim then led to speculation after he returned to the dugout after the break with a plaster over his knuckles.
Fans theoretized what Amorim had done to injure himself – with the Portuguese no stranger to unleash his anger in carefree ways.
After a defeat against Brighton in January, Amorim damaged a TV screen in the club dressing room during a furious dressing of his players.
He later admitted that he made a mistake and promised that he would not repeat his actions.
However, after he seemed to have been cut, fans speculated that he might have removed his anger in the dressing room again.
A fan said: “Amorim has a plaster on the knuckles … has taken another TV a right hook face”
Another added: “Has anyone checked whether the TVs in the dressing room are ok? Amorim had a plaster over his knuckles 🤣🤣”
A third wrote: “Amorim certainly beat something in the dressing room during the break. See the plaster on his left hand.”
And another noticed: “Amorim put a plaster on the back of his hand?”
Whatever the United boss said during the break, it clearly worked when Mason Mount started a comeback 18 minutes of time.
He turned around and finished brilliant before he completed the victory with an attempt from close the line after Rasmiro and Casemiro had undoubtedly set the draw.
