Luiz digging in heels at Juventus amid Prem return talk

Aston Villa's summer arrival has been linked with a January exit after a difficult first few months in Italy.

It has been suggested that Juve sporting chief Cristiano Giuntoli offered Luiz during meetings with Manchester City and Manchester United last week while he was in England.

But transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports: “Douglas Luiz currently has no plans to leave Juventus in the January transfer window.

“He is focused on returning from the injury and making an impact at the club after joining from Villa this summer.”
