Luis Enrique saw Paris Saint-Germain's 4-1 thrashing from Montpellier as the ideal preparation for their huge competitions that were discussed in May.
PSG broke a two-game streak in Ligue 1 in style on Saturday, while a much changed team drove to an emphatic win, inspired by the Hattrick of Goncalo Ramos.
With an average age of 21 years and 251 days, PSG's Start XI was the youngest ever by the club in a league match.
The Luis Enrique side has long packed the Ligue 1 title and after beating Arsenal over two legs, the final of the Champions League, in which they will play on 31 May.
Before that time, PSG has a Coupe de France final against Reims to look forward to 24 May, a week after they had completed their competition campaign against Auxerre.
“I am very satisfied. I think we did well,” Luis Enrique said after PSG picked up their 12th straight Ligue 1 win on Montpellier.
“We played with many young players and we played a good game.

“It is the best way to prepare for the following games. It is not easy to play away from home. It is also not easy because the team is not playing for anything.
“But we had to stay focused, as we always do in a Saint-Germain shirt in Paris.
“I am happy, but we have to rest for a few days before we prepare for our last league match next week.”
Ramos marked his 50th performance in Ligue 1 in a brilliant way, and the Portugal International has now been involved in 13 top goals this season (10 goals, three assists), and surpassed his total of the last term (11 goals, one assist).
“It's great. It's not easy to score four goals here, away from home,” he said.
“We are very happy, and now it's time to make the best of it. It is always good to score a goal, but scoring three is great.”
