The Welterweight title of Belal Muhammad came off on 10 May where he was defeated through a unanimous decision.
With the best performance of his career so far, Jack della Maddalena defeated Muhammad in the Bell Center in Montreal.
It was known in advance that the Welterweight title fight on UFC 315 would have large implications for the lightweight division while the Islam Makhachev was waiting to see who came at the top.
After a new champion was crowned at 170 pounds, Talk immediately turned to the Russian who went up a weight class with Della Maddalena who exchanged statements with Makhachev.
Muhammad now has thought about the fight in his first explanation, because his remarkably unbeaten streak finally came to an end.

Belal Muhammad has not been a popular figure among MMA fans for some time, where the former champion is often labeled as boring.
Although he did not get his hand on 10 May, 'remember the name' has been given a lot of credit after he had applied a great welterweight title fight.
Some fans even suggested that Mohammed wandered from his wrestling approach, which has criticized him in the past, perhaps cost him in this fight.
