Yoro fights back tears and goes straight down tunnel in another injury blow

Manchester United has sustained a big last blow of the Europa League when Leny Yoro sustained an injury.

The French in the middle covered his face with his shirt and seemed to stop tears while today he sucked through the tunnel during the 2-0 defeat against West Ham.

Yoro seemed to go down with his foot, where he broke and had surgery earlier this season.

He received a treatment on the field and was immediately immersed for Harry Maguire afterwards.

A physio was seen who breaks the news to Amorim that Yoro could not continue and the manager put his head in his hands.

Maguire, Alejandro Garnaacho and Patrick Dorgu comforted the 19-year-old while he went to the tunnel.

The injury comes only ten days before the blockbuster Europa League final of Man Utd on May 21 against Tottenham.

Fans were destroyed, with someone who said: “God no please, this doesn't happen. Yoro injured.”

Another added: “At the end of the season now.”

More wrote: “Yoro who hurt the same foot with which he missed three months earlier in the season is almost the sausage case scenario from this game.”

A fourth said, “I actually mba with football when he is injured.”

At Yoro's injury, Amorim said: “We hope it is nothing serious. We will judge the player, but I think it's a small thing.”

The manager added: “We have to change things. Only we can change things. We miss that feeling of urgency and it is something that is difficult to explain.

“Everyone is focused on the final. The final is not the biggest thing in our football club. We have to change many things.

“If we do not change the way we play and implement and feel this urgency to win every game, we should not play in the Champions League.

“We just have to stay in the Premier League and learn how we can be competitive a week at a time.

“The biggest focus on our football club is to change many things. It's not just the final.”

But it was not only United who sustained an injury short for the final when Spurs star Dejan Kulusevski incorporates a problem in their 2-0 loss of Crystal Palace and was immersed.
