Magomed Ankalaev makes Alex Pereira Ultimatum to fight on UFC 317
According to Ankalaev, he was offered a rematch with Pereira on UFC 317 on 28 June during the International Fight Week in Las Vegas. One of the biggest cards of the year is still a need for a main event.
If Pereira does not accept the date, Ankalaev has other plans.
“I was offered to fight the Alex International Fight Week,” Ankalaev wrote on X on Sunday.
'If the man doesn't want it, let's continue, I'm ready for everyone.
“I dare,” Ankalaev told Pereira.

If they meet at UFC 317, Ankalaev would be the fourth fight by Pereira in about fifth battle in 14 months.
Although Ankalaev is the biggest draw in light heavyweight, the title holder does have other options to choose from, such as former champion Jiri Prochazka and the #3-ranged Carlos Ulberg.

A week before Ankalaev set the Ultimatum to Pereira, 'Patan' took the newspaper heads from a now deleted post on his 'X' account.
Originally considered as the words of Pereira, the message was: “I have always answered the calls of the UFC, but if they want to play with me, we can do that.
“I have never spoken badly about the UFC, but with what I have just heard, I am discouraged.
“I have already had thoughts not to fight anymore, and after what had just been passed on to me, this can be the beginning.”
Pereira later claimed that these comments were made by a hacker.
After the last post by Ankalaev and the theory of Daniel Cormier that Pereira lied, some fans believe that Pereira does everything to prevent a rematch.
