Tom Aspinall has already met UFC's Hunter Campbell to “discuss the plan” with regard to Jon Jones
Tom Aspinall recently appeared on the High Performance Podcast, where he gave the newest important update about the Jones Saga.
The interim champion spoke about why he believes that 'bones' did not sign on the dotted line, which states that the best consensus of all time remains for more money because he knows the risk that has been confirmed.
“I just think he is 37, 38 years old, but not only that, he has a million miles on the clock. He has a lot of damage to the body, he has put a lot of shots on the head, and that is not something that says something negative about it. That is the reality of it and I am sure that Jon Jones is aware of it.”
Aspinall said that he is the most dangerous man in the UFC from a statistical point of view, so Jones wants to be financially compensated for this challenge.

When he was asked if it was frustrating to constantly speak of a subject that he cannot influence, the 32-year-old said he is ready to continue at this stage.
Aspinall, however, also said that the months of conversations and rumors would end later that day due to a planned meeting with the Hunter Campbell of the UFC in London.
He said he was interested in seeing what their personal conversation would lead after they were told that they would come together to “discuss the plan”.
“Oh, I am bored. I had had enough of it. I think we should either fight if I should go on and do something else and as I said, I will discover it. Literally, today is the day I have waited for 3-4 months and I will find out today.”
Tom Aspinall says he only has to hit Jon Jones once to beat him
Although Tom Aspinall has repeatedly made harmless jokes about Jon Jones, he also gave his heavyweight rival the respect he deserves.
For all criticism of how 'bones' has treated his heavyweight run, he is still the best to ever do it in the eyes of many people.
Aspinall spoke about how he sees the fight during his appearance on the High Performance Podcast, where he said that Jones has reached everything, he cannot avoid his strength for five rounds.
“If you look at his oeuvre for the past 15 years, he is so close if you can get to perfection. Having said that, he has many kilometers on the clock and he fights one of the most brains in the history of UFC and I just think I can exploit it.
“I think on this point I have 25 minutes in his career in his career, without being hit once, and that is all I need, I think that will be very difficult for someone.”
