Manchester City officially unveiled their 2025–26 home kit, with a sky -blue base with a white diagonal sash – the first time in club history this design appears on a home shirt.
The kit pays tribute to the past of the club, where the sash was iconic in from kits from the 1970s, worn by legends such as Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell, Francis Lee and Tony Book. With a modern turn, the new kit bridges the club's generation of the club through a futuristic aesthetics.
The launch video, directed by Glenn Kitson, included a talent show organized by actor John Thomson and consisted of first team stars Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb and Alex Greenwood, together with club legend Mike Summerbee.
Marco Mueller van Puma emphasized their goal to push the boundaries of design and innovation, while Summerbee shared that the wing evokes 'special memories' and hoped that fans would embrace the kit worldwide.
The shirt comes in two versions:
• Player edition: made with ultra-fabric, ultra-light and friction reduction.
• Fan Edition: Looser Fit, made with Puma Drycell Tech for moisture -abiding comfort.
As part of Pumas Re: Fiber Sustainability Program, the Replica Kit uses at least 95% recycled textile waste, which marks a step in the direction of circular production.
City will debut the kit during the Club World Cup in the US this summer, and it is now available via the club's website and official stores. Members and seasonal card holders receive a 10%discount.
