Arsenal is stuck in a striker dilemma about Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, according to reports.
The Gunners have made their top priority to bring in a new goal scorer this summer after they have again achieved a shortage of silverware.
Arsenal has RB Leipzig's Sesko and Sporting Lisbon's Gyokeres on their shortlist as a deal for Alexander Isak from Newcastle is unrealistic.
And reports from journalist David Ornstein suggest that the club is currently at an intersection.
He claims that Arsenal has done “a lot of work” on Sesko, but there will be reservations “perhaps about the price and the player”.
Sky Germany says that the 21-year-old has a release clause of £ 62 million in his contract in the midst of interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham too.
Sesko would still be an option for Arsenal, but the new chef Andrea Berta is a bigger fan of Gyokees.
The 26-year-old has a release clause of £ 85 million, but sport could accept a fee closer to £ 60 million.
Although Arsenal has to act quickly to close the deal for him, because the breed of his signature is intensifying.
Ornstein said to NBC: “Gyokees is probably the best price -quality ratio there is, but the time is ticking and other interest is building, so let's see if Arsenal will continue, instead of later.”
Manchester United -Baas Ruben Amorim is to hold a reunion with the striker he got the best at Sporting and Atletico Madrid is also in the mood for their chances.
Gyokees is today on the front of the Portuguese newspapers who claim that he has offered a huge £ 7 million a year contract by Arsenal.
But the side of Mikel Arteta still has to make a formal offer for the player.
A top Arsenal Scout was supposedly at Sporting's 1-1 draw with Benfica on Saturday on reconnaissance gyokees.
And they also love the appearance of his teammates Ousmane Diomande and Francisco Trincao.
Center-Back Diomande, 21, has long been on the radar of various Premier League clubs.
Winger Trincao, 25, has emerged as a shock goal after scoring ten and helping 18 in all competitions this season.
He spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Wolves, but managed only three goals.
