UEFA issue Champions League final statement after Paris Saint-Germain fans left furious

Paris Saint-Germain will be confronted in the final of the Champions League in the final of the Champions League at the end of May, but the sales process used by the French champions has caused a rebellion among their fans

UEFA has warned supporters that tickets for the Champions League final cannot be resold as anger under Paris Saint-Germain fans. The French champions have sold their full allocation of 18,000 tickets in just two waves.

The side of Luis Enrique achieved their place in their first Champions League final for five years by illuminating the past Arsenal in the semi-final. They will be confronted with Inter Milan, who turned Barcelona 7-6 in a last four collision for the centuries.

The two parties meet each other on 31 May in the Allianzarena in Munich for the chance to lift the European Cup. The allocation for the final is divided between PSG, Inter and UEFA, which handle the sale of sponsor and hospitality for the game.

PSG had planned three waves to sell their tickets to seasonal card holders, but sold out during the Golf two. The first wave preferred their long -term seasonal card holders who were guaranteed to have a chair for the final.

The club also decided to invite all their employees, as well as partners and the families of the players. That meant that at the time of the launch of Wave Two, only a few thousand seats remained.

Those in the second wave were forced to wait for an e -mail with which they have access to the code, which was seriously delayed by being sent. In the midst of increasing frustration, UEFA have now warned those who have been able to protect tickets against trying to sell them.

“It is not allowed to resell tickets, which are also personal tickets,,” a spokesperson for the administrative body told RMC Sport. “To prevent the unauthorized resale of tickets, it is in the interest of UEFA events SA to correctly limit the unauthorized resale of tickets.”

Sanctions For those caught, vary from a fine to full or partial reimbursement of any profit that exceeds the nominal value of the ticket of the unauthorized resale of the ticket.

After having protected the Ligue 1 title, PSG offer to win the Treble. A week before the final of the Champions League they will come across the Reims in the final of the Coupe de France.

But the Parc des Princes Club is confronted with an increasing rebellion of supporters about the way in which they have carried out the sales process for the Champions League final. One said: “Wave 2 in 5 minutes, there were no more places, @psg_inside you have blood on your hands.”

Another added: “Wave 2, I log in, 3 minutes waiting, full … Die in Golf 3, don't even bother, thanks @psg_inside. No respect for long -term seasonal card holders.”

A third rumbled: “We want the figures. How many tickets were there for sale in Wave 2 and at what prices. It is not normal that holders of season cards are without a chair because Wave 1 holders could buy different tickets. A large club must respect his supporters.”

A fourth added: “After ticketing fiasco for the trip to Arsenal, another fiasco for Wave 2. Ticket management S *****.”
