Van Nottingham Forest players are expected to show their support for injured forward Taiwo Awoniyi when they go against West Ham on Sunday.
Earlier this week, Awoniyi underwent urgent operation on a serious abdominal injury and forest was hopeful that the procedure would be completed on Wednesday. According to his club, the Nigerian, who was placed in an induced coma, is 'recovering well'.
Understandably worried about learning Awoniyi, on Monday was brought to the hospital, Mail Sport understands that the forest team was updated on Tuesday by club staff on the condition of their teammate.
Despite the painful circumstances, Forest is determined to end their campaign with two victories that still give them an external chance to qualify for the Champions League of next season.
