Arsenal has Benjamin Sesko High on their shortlist this summer and the RB Leipzig has been overlooked for the launch of his club, while doubt continues with his future
Arsenal may have received the biggest indication that Benjamin Sesko is on the move this summer after RB Leipzig has released their new kit without including the striker in their launch. The Slovenian one is one of their biggest names and would usually be recorded – but was overlooked.
That is probably motivated by his uncertain future, with Sesko attracting a lot of attention. Leipzig included Xavi Simons, who is also the subject of transfer interest, but their striker was overlooked with the Gunners among those connected to his signature.
Sesko continued to thrive at the German outfit and Leipzig has shown that they are a sales club for the correct fee. He scored this term 21 times and the priority of Arsenal this summer will add more firepower.
In recent transfer windows, they have not succeeded in bringing a productive No. 9 and that has come back to chase them. Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko are considered their two most important goals.
Both Gyokees and Sesko would cost less than £ 75 million, which means that they can be signed without breaking the bank. A lot of work has been done on Sesko, who was a target last summer before the Slovenia star decided to sign a new contract with RB Salzburg.
The new sports director of Arsenal, Andrea Berta, is supposed to give a move for Gyokees, who is probably allowed to leave Sporting Lisbon for less than his release clause – which means that he could be up to £ 15 million cheaper than Sesko.
Mikel Arteta insists that the summer plan is to invest further in the team, but wants to stick to their values. He said: “We will do everything we can to improve the team and especially to improve the players we already have and what the market offers to give us a better chance to definitely win, we will try to do it. But I think we should do it our way, and we must be authentic with ourselves and what we can do and what we can do and what we do.
In the second half of the arsenal, without Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus – the two men who would usually lead their line. It has uncovered their lack of depth. Arteta said: “We knew from the start of the decision that our team was super short and that we were super short, we had some players who had a big chance to be injured.”
Since the 2019/20 season, Arsenal has had a player surpassed the 20-goal staff in the Premier League-At that opportunity it was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. In the meantime, their rivals – such as Liverpool and Manchester City – have ahead to whom they can trust regular goals.
