Apart from a controversial loss of disqualification from the start of his UFC career, Jon Jones still has to taste a defeat in the Octagon.
His unparalleled run After being the youngest UFC champion, 'bones' changed the best consensus of all time.
The fact that nobody has improved him is precisely the reason why so many fans want to see Jones towards Tom Aspinall to unite the heavyweight titles because of the threat that the interim champion presents.
Although the former light heavyweight king has not improved, this does not mean that he has always blown his opponents out of the water.
Even before Jones's controversial victory over Dominick Reyes who believe many he has lost, the greatest to do it became heavily criticized after his performance at UFC 197.
Jon Jones admitted that he 'abandoned' by driving by Ovince Saint Preux Fight
At UFC 197, Jon Jones returned to the Octagon who had fought for no more than a year because of his problems outside fighting.
With his rival and last opponent Daniel Cormier injured, 'Bones' donated Ovince Saint Preux for the interim light heavyweight title in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
'Osp' had already suffered losses to two men who had defeated Jones in the past in Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira, making the former champion a huge favorite on the way to April 23.
He then won every round in a very little inspiring way before Jones gave the interim title back to Dana White.

In his only only appearance on the podcast of Joe Rogan Experience in December 2016, Jones said that the Saint Preux fight was his “worst achievements” at that time.
He further explained why he thinks this was the case and said that he could not systematically break down his opponent as he usually does before the fight evening.
As a result, Jones stated that he did not want to take unnecessary risks when he only wanted to appear, win the victory, be paid and go home.

“He was so green and raw, in terms of skill,” Jones said. “I study everyone extensively and then I come up with their patterns … with Ovince Saint Preux he does not know what he will do. He is so unorthodox.
“He gets these random knockouts from these weird perspectives and he just wings things and he almost closes his eyes and the next that you know, he hit someone out.
“I had a lot at stake, so I just said, you know what, this guy is almost in a shell almost the whole fight … I just thought I would go through the fight and didn't really risk something that I felt like I abandoned myself because you normally get that way, just take them out.
“I just had to remove him, but I was satisfied with winning.”
UFC 197 was the first fight that Jon Jones went without his safety net
During his only performance about the Joe Rogan experience, Jon Jones admitted what has been the subject of rumor for some time.
Before his light heavyweight title defenses 'bones' would often party until the Vechtweek before he entered the Octagon to face the best hunters in the world.

Jones said Rogan that the Ovince Saint Preux fight on UFC 197 was the first time he did not do that and described the trial as a “safety net”.
“I would literally, a week before every fight, I would go out and I would be damn. My logic was, if this man would somehow beat me, I could look myself in the mirror and say well, I lost because I was hammered the week before the fight. It was a safety net.”
