Chelsea vs Man Utd pitch invader ‘SPEARED’ as Blues steward is likened to WWE icon

A Stamford Bridge -Pitch intruder was “played” on the floor -because fans compared a fast tackling steward with a WWE icon.

Chelsea and Manchester United players watched while a fan burst past them in the Prem Clash – before they were felled by the expert diving of a security personnel.

Viewers were impressed by the elite movement of the steward, which came deep into the stop time when the blues held up for a vital 1-0 win.

An observer placed: “The best thing about this game is that the pitch infather is played by the steward. Prime Prime Goldberg Spear.”

That was a reference to WWE Hall by Famer Bill Goldberg.

The former wrestler, 58, was a five -time world champion.

Another fan said about the Turf-Obewinger with blue peat: “Bro was played in a different species … unreal from the steward.”

And a viewer joked about the tackler: “I thought it was John Terry.”

TV cameras caught the incident during the live match coverage.

The intruder zoomed in the middle – recruiting different players indoors.

Manuel Ugarte turned surprised when the man went straight through the back of the United Stituut.

And Chelsea's Romeo Lavia also turned to see what was going on at a moving distance from him.

Seconds later, two stewards caught up with the intruder.

And when someone dived to the man to take him straight to the floor, Blues Winger Noni Madueke looked over the entire scene.

TV cover soon switched to a photo of Chelsea -Baas Enzo Maresca.

This can be partly because broadcasters often do not avoid -in -laws of pitch.

And the hold-up lasted barely a minute, with referee Chris Kavanagh blown full-time 60 seconds later.
