UFC Vegas 106 hit by last-minute fight cancellation as ‘medical issue’ spoils co-main event

The light heavyweight return of Paul Craig was canceled at the last minute on Saturday evening.

The Favorite of the Scottish fan was supposed to be confronted with Rodolfo Bellato in the UFC Vegas 106 Co-Main event.

Halfway through the main map, however, it was announced that their scrap had been canceled.

The UFC commentators called a 'medical issue' as the reason for the Late-notice Vecht Cancellation.

Paul Craig vs Rodolfo Bellato canceled

Just before the third to the previous UFC Vegas 106 fight started, the broadcast was interrupted.

It was announced that Paul Craig vs Rodolfo Bellato had been postponed at the last minute.

“We have some crust news to announce,” said UFC commentator John Godden.

“An unfortunate one. I am sorry that our Co-Main event has now been canceled due to a medical problem on the side of Rodolfo Bellato.

“This will be again planned as soon as possible. 31 May or June 7 in Newark.

“That is a real shame for Bellato and, of course, Paul Craig.”

UFC fans respond to Late-notice change

Fight fans released their anger on a referee after a late break during a UFC Vegas 106 Prelim.

Many returned to social media to respond after Craig vs Bellato had been shocked.

“I think he didn't want to be immersed by Paul Craig,” wrote a fan. While another addition: “Bruh.”

“Wtf,” someone else exclaimed.

“Paul Craig won without even stepping into the cage, the Scottish Aura is too strong,” joked a fourth X user.

“This is officially the latest withdrawal of a fight ever?” someone else asked.

“Rodolfo has not won a fight since 2023, cut this wanderer,” smoked a sixth fan.
