Last Saturday it was officially announced that one of the best bantam weights in the world, Patchy Mix, finally signed at the UFC.
Earlier this week, the PFL revealed that the former Bellator Bantamweight champion Patchy Mix did not expand his contract with them and was on their way to a free desk.
Reports then started to come up that Mix had signed with the UFC and agreed in the short term to join Mario Bautista on UFC 316 after Marlon Vera withdrew from the fight.
This was then confirmed by the UFC broadcast last Saturday at UFC Vegas 106, where Mix is the newest addition to an already stacked 135LB division.

Mix reveals who he wants to win between Dvalishhvili and O'Malley
'No Love's' UFC debut comes pretty fitting on the UFC 316 Undercard, which is led by a Bantamweight title fight between Merab Dvalishvili vs Sean O'Malley.
Mix previously trained with Dvalishvili and explained that he had a conversation with Merab before he accepted a UFC debut in late notification.
The 31-year-old also claimed historically that he would destroy 'Suga' Sean within the first two rounds if she ever fought, and when O'Malley was the UFC Bantamweight Champion, a large part of the MMA Fanbase Mix as the best Bantamweight in the world.
“Me and Merab have been training together for years, and I respect him, I really hope that Merab wins against O'Malley, I would like us to earn some money together, you know, and simply take it off for that title as I get closer,” Mix said the media after UFC Vegas 106.
Mix wants to take revenge for Jose Aldo by beating Mario Bautista
And with a title shot apparently not far away for mix, he claimed that he wants to take revenge at Jose Aldo with a victory over Bautista at UFC 316.
Bautista scored a very controversial victory over the UFC legend at UFC 307 and was very criticized because he had held Aldo for the cage for the most of the battle.
“I'm going to get justice for Aldo. We're going to pound it and we're going to fascinate, he won't hold me against the fence,” Mix claimed.
The 31-year-old will probably need a different victory if he beats Bautista because he is still ranked outside the top five of the 135LB division.
