Manchester United will be confronted next week with a seasonal determination match, while they are preparing for their Europa League final against Tottenham and Ruben Amorim stands for a number of heavy decisions on his starting XI
Manchester United Spits Rasmus Hojlund is on a frightening waiting to learn if he will start the Europa League final against Tottenham on Wednesday. Hojlund has had the attack of United this season, only scored 10 goals and again floated in the ABject 1-0 defeat on Friday in Chelsea.
Ruben Amorim works out his best line-up to beat Spurs in Bilbao, where the United Boss is considering falling on the couch.
The return of Amad due to injury has given Amorim greater attacking options and the United Boss would consider starting him against Spurs.
Hojlund could see that from the starting line-up, whereby Captain Bruno Fernandes may play as a false nine, supported by Amad and Alejandro Garnacho.
Another option, which Amorim has already tried this season, would be to play Kobbie Mainoo as a false nine, with Fernandes deeper.
Amorim still has to decide on his starting line-up, with three more training sessions for the Make-Or-Break-Showdown of £ 100 million in Spain, with the winners earning a place in the Champions League of next season.
But Amorim would like to retain the central midfield partnership of Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte, which turned out to be effective in the quarterfinals and the semi -final of the Europa League.
Ex-red Devil's boss Roy Keane delivered a destructive assessment of Hojlund after the defeat of Chelsea, the 18th of United in the competition this season.
Keane said: “They didn't have a striker. Hojlund looked like he had just left the academy. His runs were not good, his timing, his hold -up game. Again, if you play a striker for United – even for the entire team – one shot on goal?”
“We continue to apologize for him. We are talking about trust, but you still think that if you are a striker, you sometimes have to let something happen.
“What the big clubs have – and what United has always had – are strikers who can produce something for themselves, even if they don't get great service.
“They produce something because they have quality, a little determination, a little experience, football information. We don't see that with Hojlund.”
