Cesc Fabregas planning to pip Chelsea to signing of €30m Spanish sensation

In January, Chelsea failed with several bids to sign Deportivo La Coruna Starlet Yeremay Hernandez, which illuminated the Segunda division this season. And they can now miss completely, because another club is willing to spend great on the 22-year-old.

It has been a Breakout season for Yeremay, who has 14 goals and five assists in 36 Segunda performances. But more than his goal, his versions have drawn strong attention and Chelsea are just one of the several clubs that keep an eye on his situation.

Another club that wants to sign Yeremay is Como, which is managed by ex-Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas. And according to Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A -side is planning to activate Deportivo -release clause during the summer transfer window.

“Understand that Como is planning to pay the release clause of more than € 30 million for Deportivo Gem Yeremay. Cesc Fabregas has been in Como since January and conversations are now underway with personal conditions, discussions are underway. Contract conditions remain the most important step to take the deal.”

Como has already been tested to sign a number of players from Spain since their Serie A promotion last summer, including people such as Assane Diao and Alex Valle. Yeremay could be the last to go to Italy, and although it would be disappointing for Deportivo to lose an important player, bringing in € 30 million would be huge to help them make a persistent urge to promote to La Liga in the future.

Arsenal is also linked to Yeremay, but at this stage he will most likely join Fabregas in Como. It would be very interesting to see how he would go in the Serie A, especially when he considered how well Diao has done since his switch from Real Betis in January.
