One of the most memorable victories of Patchy Mix in his career came against Conor McGregor's Protege, James Gallagher, at Bellator 270.
Last Saturday it was officially announced after rumors circulated earlier this week that former Bellator Bantamweight Champion Patchy Mix signed at the UFC.
Despite the fact that he has just been signed with the best promotion, Mix will make his debut on UFC 316, so that the wounded Marlon Vera will compete against Mario Bautista.
In the UFC 316 Main Event, Merab Dvalishvili defends his Bantamweight title against Sean O'Malley in a Rematch, and Mix has revealed who he wants to win the fight, with his eyes on a future title fight.
Although 'no love' still has to fight in the UFC, it is already generally considered one of the best Bantam weights in the world, and that started when he choked the protection of Conor McGregor.

Patchy Mix Sticked James Gallagher for Irish crowd
Before the Bellator became Bantamweight Champion, the 31-year-old had to pick up several impressive victories before he got his chance to fight for the title.
And one of his most impressive came in enemy territory when he took the training partner of McGregor, James Gallagher, in Dublin at Bellator 270.
For a few years, Gallagher was labeled as 'The Next Conor McGregor', not only because of his ties with 'the notorious', but because of his fighting style and eccentric personality.
After four impressive victories in a row, 'The Strabanimal' got a fight against Mix at Bellator 270 in Dublin in 2021. A victory for Gallagher would probably have seen him challenge the title.
However, Mix came into enemy territory and pulled the upset victory when he swallowed Gallagher for his Irish fans.
The first two rounds were extremely closely disputed and in round two Gallagher had its own guillotine in its own guillotine, almost caused a tick.
Although, less than a minute in the final round, mix a guillotine jumped on Gallagher, who then dragged him to the ground and stitched him out while the Irish fans held him out.

Mix can be followed quickly to UFC title fight
Although the Bantam weight division is one of the deepest and strongest in the UFC, Mix could be that it is quickly followed to a title shot, especially with an impressive victory over Bautista in Newark.
Even before they came to the most important promotion, many fans mixed as the best bantam weight in the world, and he himself claimed historically that he would finish 'Suga' Sean O'Malley within two rounds if they ever fought.
With the UFC debut from Mix is one of the most expected in recent memory, he will hope for a fairy tale result on 7 June and immediately wants to crack the top 10 of the ranking.
