Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool part of ‘6-way transfer race for Chelsea star’

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are in a transfer fight in this summer's window, with a £ 52 million Chelsea star the subject of serious interest

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all interested in signing Chelsea Flop Christopher Nunku this summer. NUGKU moved to Stamford Bridge two years ago in a £ 52 million deal from RB Leipzig.

His debut season was ruined by a serious knee injury that he sustained in August 2023. Although he also missed 10 matches with injury problems this period, Nunku also has difficulty convincing Boss Enzo Maress.

The Frenchman started with only nine Premier League matches and scored only three goals. Because Maresca mainly uses it as part of the second string team that played in the cup matches, a future for the attacker at the blues is difficult to see.

As a result, the 27-year-old has been set up to push an exit from Stamford Bridge as soon as the summer window is opened. Nunku had built up a solid reputation at Leipzig after he had come through the ranks in Paris Saint-Germain.

However, he has left on his contract with Chelsea for four years. And the blues will probably look to earn as much of the £ 52 million that they have paid Leipzig for him as they can.

Despite those conditions, the Sun reports that there is a six-road transfer struggle for the attacker. Arsenal would be one of the clubs who stand in line a movement for NUunku, with the Gunners 'Desperate' to increase their attacking options.

Baas Mikel Arteta sees Nunku as a 'good option' to add to his team, who illuminate the pursuit personally green. But they are also confronted with competition from United, who tried to sign him in January.

The Red Devils are preparing to generate their interest in the summer, with Ruben Amorim a 'huge admirer'. Amorim believes that the Premier League experience of Nunku would make him an 'excellent option' despite his struggles.

Liverpool is the third team that monitors the Chelsea man, with the Reds that assesses his versatility. A fourth Premier League team is interested in which West Ham is planning an ambitious raid on the blues while they are undergoing a large rebuilding.

The quartet will have to defend the competition from Europe, with the former NUGKU PSG team in the hope of bringing him back to the Parc des Princes. The French champions would be 'great admirers' of the attacker.

They believe that he could be the 'perfect addition' for the team of Luis Enrique, who sometimes struggled without a figurehead attacker. The last club in the race is Atletico Madrid from La Liga in the midst of increasing uncertainty about the future of Julian Alvarez.

When Alvarez leaves, Nunku is their first choice to replace it. The Frenchman is supposed to prefer a club that has qualified for the Champions League, which boosts Arsenal, Liverpool, PSG and Atletico's Hope.

For their part, Chelsea would rather see Nunku Abrard moving, with boss Maresca aware of his skills. The Italian is concerned that selling him to a Premier League -rival can be risky.
