Road your mind back to November 2024 when the Manchester United -Hierarchy had realized that they had made a mistake to continue Erik ten Hag and then decided to illuminate him from his duties.

Prior to the 2024/25 campaign, Amorim's lowest profit rate with the Portuguese giants 54.5% of 11 games (2019/20) was, but once he had made the team he wanted and played in a certain way, a win of 70% (2022/23, 28 win of 40 games – still good) was his worst shows.

All the aforementioned managers have been successful elsewhere, and in Amorim, Van Gaal, Mourinho and ten Hag's case that has been at least with a competition or cup win.
That is why it is lazy to label everyone who takes the job in the United Dugout as 'not good enough'.

That stat and a corresponding profit percentage of only 24% would be bad enough, but if you also consider that United has always scored goals and yet they are only 30 in those 25 games, it really brings some of the problems in the focus that the manager has.

The profit percentage in that competition for the Portuguese (only united) is a healthy 80% that is much more in line with his time at sport and could suggest that a more European way of playing is one that apparently fits this manager.
Although he has a number of very experienced players who should do much better on a regular basis, it is not to escape that the Premier League is a physically demanding and perhaps less technical competition than where Amorim is used to.
His insistence is therefore to be admired in a certain way; However, there will be a point that one has to make up the balance and admit when something does not work.

“Everyone here must seriously think about many things,” he said.

Were united to fail in their search for kings of Europe, that the process could accelerate for a new manager, although all that will do, the club is in essence to be reduced. The misery of United cannot be easily laid with every door of every new manager.
