Tom Aspinall ramps up training by sparring world champion as Jon Jones flip-flops on UFC retirement

Tom Aspinall continues to train quietly for his long -awaited UFC recovery.

The interim heavyweight champion has not fought anymore since he ended up Curtis Blaydes in 60 seconds at UFC 304 in July.

Since then, Tom Aspinall has been healing in securing a unification fight with the other UFC heavyweight title holder, Jon Jones.

Unfortunately, negotiations are long -term and it is unclear whether their fight will come off.

Although he is currently in the dark, Tom Aspinall continues to act and train as a real professional.

While Jones hangs around with Hasbulla in Thailand, his next opponent is sparkling with the very best.

On Tuesday morning, Glory Heavyweight Champion Rico Verhoeven shared various photos of his latest sparring session with Aspinall on Instagram.

“Working with the very best @tomaspinallofficial,” wrote the kickboxing legend his post.

A few hours later Verhoeven posted a video of him and Aspinall steeped in with sweat after their spruce.

“Learn to trade with the very best is competitive,” he said in his Instagram story.

“Do you see my hand shaking? We have given it all.”

The greatest hunter of all time has spent in recent days falling conflicting hints over his UFC future.

On Monday, Jones sent MMA fans in smelting by publicly saying that he is 'ready' with the sport.

Less than 24 hours later, the 37-year-old suggested that he would soon return to the UFC-Achterhoek.

“What I feel to return to the UFC after some much needed downtime,” Jones wrote next to a video with a dog that chases other dogs from his garden.

Dana White has guaranteed '100 percent' that Jones will fight against Aspinall later this year.

Until their fight is officially made, some fans will have difficulty believing the UFC boss.
