Manchester United focuses on their enormous Europa League final against Tottenham on Wednesday, knowing that the outcome will have enormous consequences for their summer spending for next season
It is all or nothing for the Manchester United season if they offer a shot at Glory for the Europa League final. The side of Ruben Amorim takes on Premier League rivals Tottenham in the hope of ending their disastrous season with silverware after he was extended to Bilbao for Wednesday's showpiece.
United comes in sad form in the final after winning only one of their last eight games, a run with six defeats and two draws – with Amorim's men still 16th in the Premier League table.
Their opponents are not in a much better form after sinking to the 17th after one victory in seven, with five defeats in six and it should be a competitive final.
The result can have enormous consequences for the summer of spending of United, knowing that the victory will place them in the Champions League of next season – so that they can focus on a higher caliber of player – while the defeat will completely leave them without Europe.

Neville Greetings Cunha -Deal
The first deal to have United over the line is Wolves star Matheus Cunha, who wants to join Old Trafford, regardless of whether they will play in the Champions League next season.
Cunha has a release clause of £ 63 million in his contract with Molineux and his understood United are almost agreed a deal to sign the attacker.
The Brazilian has scored 15 times in the Premier League and is now interested in a number of big times – including Liverpool and Arsenal.
But with United who is now approaching a movement for the player, Neville spoke his assets in advance and said that the club was “desperate” for someone from his caliber.
“Man United is desperate in that position,” he told Sky Sports. “You think of what Manchester United is playing now, they have let Jadon Sancho go, they let (Marcus) go Rashford, they have let Antony go, so three players who are natural players who travel with the ball.
“They need someone who can beat players, they need someone who walks through the middle with the ball and travel with the ball, and go wide and support the wing-back.
“So he's [Cunha] A kind of player in which you could see that Manchester United is interested in this system that Ruben wants to play Amorim. “
David warned of United Move
Another attacker who is connected is Jonathan David – and that would be a slightly more simple move because he is available for a free transfer.
David will leave Lille for nothing this summer after another fantastic season for goal. He has scored 25 times in all competitions and has confirmed that he will leave at the end of the season.
United will hope among the front runners to sign him while they try to further upgrade their forward line in the aftermath of the timid displays of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
But his national boss of Canada, Jesse Marsch, has encouraged the player to choose a club where he will often play and compete for trophies.
“Knowledge of Johnny, he's going to play,” said Marsch. “He goes to the best club where he can be. And I think that is achieved the most in terms of what it would mean to compete for trophies in Europe. But he also wants to play.
“And I think that is important. I think the most important thing is for him, it's not good if he goes somewhere and then he has to play a lot on the couch and not get minutes to keep himself sharp and fit and ready, especially with the World Cup who is away for a year.
“I don't even think that Johnny really knows what that is, but I am sure he will make a good decision. We hope he can be with us this summer. But more importantly, we want him to be in a good situation, so that the next year he has under his belt, really leads him in the 2026 world cup.”
Gyokers hopes to depend on the success of Europe
Making up a trio of attacking goals, you could claim that Amorim's dream drawing would be his former sporty Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres, but this would probably be the most challenging deal to get over the line.
The Sweden International is one of Europe's most sought after attackers after his ridiculous goals in this season, with 53 goals in 51 games in all games and he probably seems to win the European Golden Shoe this season.
Amorim is a big reason for the top performance of Gyokees in the past two seasons with Lisbon and he would certainly bring United to the next level if he would participate.
But it is understanding that the player would play in the Champions League desperately next season, so his move to Old Trafford would hang or the team could win the Europa League on Wednesday evening.
If they are defeated by Tottenham, Arsenal would probably take the lead in the race for Gyokeres – after having reserved him as their most important target this summer.
