Bryan Mbeumo has enjoyed a sensational season for Brentford, but his future with the West -London side looks very uncertain in the midst of the interest of Premier League champions Liverpool
Brentford -Baas Thomas Frank did not succeed in excluding a movement for Bryan Mbeumo in what a big boost for Liverpool is. The bees Vooruit enjoyed this period of a sensational campaign for the West Londs.
The 25-year-old scored 19 Premier League goals during the campaign, where teammate Yoane Wissa also found an excellent form. Both were recommended this summer for grand movements, in particular Mbeumo.
Liverpool has emerged as potential lovers for his services and Boss Frank seems to have left the door open for an exit for his star. Speaking with Sky Sports he said: 'He has been fantastic.
“For me it has been a privilege to work with him for six years and see his development of a teenager, I think he was 19 when he came in many ways or a young man, to a more mature man. And I think that personal development is just as important.
“I always knew that he was a goal scorer. Now he is now just a more consistent goalscorer. His hold-up play is even better, his assist play or link-up play, his work ethics is fantastic. So very impressed.”
Asked if he will still be a Brentford player next season, Frank replied: “Let's look. We all love him. I watch him every day, he comes in with a big smile, trains with a big smile. He likes to be a Brentford player, but let's look.”
Frank's newest comments are an in turn of the Brentford boss who previously gave an update about the future of Mbeumo. Although he suggested that he could not predict the future, the DANE revealed his desire to keep progress in the club and pointed to a very elevated price tag.
He said: “I am the head coach, I want my best players to stay forever. I know that Bryan is very happy to be here at Brentford, he is flourishing, is doing well and plays fantastic. What happens in the future? I don't know.

“I have often said: we are a sales club. But at the same time we have to strengthen that there are 10 clubs in the world that do not sell clubs.
“So, of course, if the right price – and that is going to be expensive – is coming, then I know for sure that the club will be open for it. But I am very happy that it is here, and I am convinced that Bryan will still like to play football here.”
Mbeumo could possibly make his last performance for Brentford this weekend. The bees take on Wolves in their last match of the campaign on Sunday.
