Dana White furiously held $75k from UFC legend after he spat at his opponents corner during huge rivalry fight

The most striking rivalry of Michael Bisping during his UFC career came across Luke Rockhold, but it was a feud with Jorge Rivera who came first.

The middleweight feud of Michael Bisping with Luke Rockhold will fall as one of the greatest rivalry in the history of promotion, with both hunters who keep pure hatred for each other.

Their historic rivalry ended with Bisping and became the very first British UFC champion after beating Rockhold on UFC 199.

However, it was a rivalry with Jorge Rivera in 2011 who showed the personality of Bisping at the UFC fans, but eventually left the UFC boss Dana White Furious.

Michael Bisping was confronted with potential suspension after spitting in the corner team of Jorge Rivera

Five years after his UFC official period, Bisping was linked to Rivera, who came behind the back of a few impressive victories.

On this point, 'The Count' had somewhat received a reputation for the extremely close to a centralweight title shot before he ran a devastating defeat, which brought him into an unfortunate position.

After a loss against Wanderlei Silva, Bisping wanted to build up enough momentum again to possibly take advantage of a title shot.

In anticipation of their collision at UFC 127, Bisping and Rivera were involved in various verbal exchanges and were even separated by a group of security at the weightings after they had traded verbal attacks.

The Brit started the fight well and dominated Rivera with different Takedowns, before landing an illegal knee that resulted in a point deduction. Despite the fact that the knee was happened, many hunters and fans believed that it was intentional.

Despite the deduction of the point, Bisping came out in round two and scored a knockout over Rivera. However, that was not the end of their rivalry.

The Brit went to the corner of Rivera immediately after the victory and is said to spit in his corner team. He then went to Rivera for his reactions before the fight and claimed that he had discredited his family.

Dana White was furious with Bisping after controversial UFC 127 winning

Bisping was confronted with potential charges and suspensions for his antics on UFC 127, and the whole thing left Dana White Furious, so much so that he did not pay Bisping for his victory.

“I spoke with Mike, and he's sorry. Listen, I love Michael Bisping, I know him for a long time, I have done season three of the ultimate hunter (with him), and if you meet the man, Michael Bisping is stubborn? Yes. He is a professional,” explained White to Ariel Helwani.

“What he did was (stupid), at the end of the day I am not the athletic committee, the Athletic Commission are those who impose fines and do all these other things, what I have done with Michael Bisping and not many people know it, but the hunters know it.

“The hunters who fight for me know exactly what I say when I say this, Mike Bisping did not get a bonus. He was not a bonus for his fight and believes me that it is worse than everything else that someone could have done. I told him exactly how I felt about it,” White continued.

Although he claimed that the knee was not intentional, the UFC boss stated that he thinks it was absolutely intentional.

“I don't agree with that. I think the knee was intentional and he absolutely wanted to spit on that guy,” said White.
