Kvaratskhelia: I never imagined reaching UCL final so soon after joining PSG

The Georgia star is preparing for Inter Milan in the final of next week, after they regularly faced them while he was at the former club Napoli.

On yesterday's PSG media day before the final, Kvaratskhelia said: “It has been a very long journey.

“I have overcome difficult moments, and that is extremely important in the career of a football player. I will always wear Georgia with me – it gave me everything, it helped me.

“I am proud of being Georgian, and I want to help my country because it is difficult for a Georgian player to get it in a top European competition.

“When I signed, I never thought I would reach a Champions League final so quickly. I am happy to be here and have this opportunity – it's like a dream.”

I know how strong is internal

Whether he has internal knowledge on Inter to pass on to coach Luis Enrique and his staff.

Kvara also said: “They don't need my help – they look at the games and they are better than me.

“I can share a few things because I have played against them so often; I know how strong they are.”
