Joe Rogan broke down in tears during emotional interview with UFC star after shock KO title win

Joe Rogan made a small piece of history in the aftermath of the UFC 261 Co-Main event.

The UFC commentator recently broke into tears and reminded himself of the remarkable comeback victory of Darren Elkins on Mirsad Bektic on his podcast.

Fans are used to Joe Rogan, who has shifted his softer side in recent years.

However, it came as a total shock when he cried after Rose Namajunas eliminated Zhang Weili in April 2021.

Joe Rogan cries during the interview with Rose Namajunas

Two years earlier, Rose Namajunas dropped the Stromweight title in a bizarre Slam Ko loss of Jessica Andrade, who was subsequently wiped out in her first defending defense against Zhang Weili in 42 seconds.

Namajunas bounced back by avenged her defeat against Andrade in a split decision gain in July 2020.

It was enough to earn her a tear from Zhang, who was fresh from a Hall of Fame fight with Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Namajuna's passed the opportunities while she chose Zhang with a main kick in just 78 seconds at UFC 261.

The legend of 115 pounds broke into tears when the UFC belt was wrapped around her waist by Dana White for the second time.

Rogan's emotions got better from him and he started crying for the first time during a UFC interview.

“Rose, there are special moments in MMA,” he said.

“I feel that I have just witnessed a real one.

“You have me crying here!”

UFC commentator gets an emotional revision of the viral moment

In a next episode of his podcast, Rogan cried again when he visited the UFC 261 Co-Main event again.

The 57-year-old explained why he became so emotional during his chat after the fight with Namajunas.

“They give her the title and then I talk to her about it,” said Rogan.

'And when I talk to her, she is emotional, she cries and I cries.

“I completely cried. This is the first time I ever cried during an interview.

“She is a good example because there is nothing about her that is aggressive or cheeky.

“When she won the title the first time, one of the things she said was:” We have to be better people. “She had this message while I interviewed her in the cage after winning a fight.

“She's so much:” We have to be more beautiful for each other. “That was her message.”
