PSG Sporting Director Luis Campos seems to stay on his role, according to the Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport. The Ligue 1 champions and the Portuguese director have reportedly reached a breakthrough in recent contract renewal interviews in recent days. The Campos contract is in June. Campos attracted the interest of Premier League clubs and received French football news that he was talking to a big European side.
As a sports director since 2022, Campos has supervised a large makeover at PSG. He has brought in a new philosophy to the club, which entails from signing big stars. There has been more focus on home -grown talents in France, as well as those who come through the academy. PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi reportedly lobbying for Campos to renew his deal with PSG. Les Parisiens head coach Luis Enrique also supported the Portuguese director.
RMC Sport adds that Campos is already supervising PSG's Summer Transfer window. The former Lille and Monaco Executive are reportedly searching the market for a right-sided center back, while the Ligue 1 champions want to secure a long-term replacement for club captain Marquinhos.
