Khamzat Chimaev landed in Ireland to confront Conor McGregor during Khabib -Vete

In 2018, De Veigne van McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov reached a record high when the Nurmagomedov McGregor's team then had teammate Artem Lobov in a hotel lobby in a hotellobby and hit him.

Almost immediately the Irishman closed several of his troops and they flew to America to confront Khabib, threw a metal dolly through a UFC coach window while Khabib and various other UFC stars were in the bus.

Not long afterwards, 'Borz' Chimaev went on board a flight to Ireland and claimed that he was trying to go and 'beating up' McGregor, who defended Nurmagomedov.

Despite his plan, at the landing in Ireland, Chimaev was stopped at passport control and he was interrogated for a few hours. After hours of interrogation, the Chechen was sent back to Sweden.

“At that moment nobody knew who I was. He was also talking about another man who is also Chechen. I don't remember his name, but he told us that he had beaten him in a sparring session,” Chimaev explained to Adam Zubayraev years later.

“My mind was blowing up at the time, but I live here very close to him. I thought I would catch him on the street or in the gym and beat him up. This is what he earned.

“I landed in Ireland and waited for an airport. At first they stopped me for a while and then said somewhat that I had to go … When I left the airport, they stopped me again … She drove me to the police station and kept me for eight hours.

“To be honest, I wanted to beat him up. Many people thought I came there to help him prepare me for Khabib. I came there to protect our pride and honor,” he continued.

Khabib Nurmagomedov claims that Conor McGregor has paid for a new Dagestan Training Center

The rivalry of McGregor and Khabib will fall as one of the largest in combat history, in which the two still have an enthusiastic hatred for each other.

Nevertheless, Khabib has credited his rivalry with McGregor because he was recently able to open a huge new training center in Dagestan.

The Russian star has opened the training center for the next generation of MMA stars in the region and wants to continue the legacy of his father.
