UFC Legend Bas Rutten has reminded himself of the time he spent on the set 'The Smashing Machine'.
The former heavyweight filmed scenes such as he himself in Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's newest film.
Retired UFC hunter Mark Kerr's story was adapted by Hollywood for a film called The Smashing Machine, which is named after a documentary that described his addiction to painkillers during the peak of his combat sport career.
Some fans have supported Johnson to score an Oscar nomination after seeing a short trailer prior to the release of 3 October, which Bas Rutten is very enthusiastic about following his time around the WWE super star in character.

Bas Rutten got goosebumps when he saw the rock as Mark Kerr
Rutten ran away from his 'The Smashing Machine' experience with a great opinion about Dwayne Johnson as a man.
The 60-year-old kickbok icon was also impressed by the power of the rock to transform into character.
“Very impressive. I don't know how he does it,” Rutten told Submission Radio.
“He is very friendly for everyone, he gives time to everyone, it doesn't matter if you are an extra.
“People like that. How can he do that? I think I am overloaded with work and I have 20 percent of what he has. And he just does it. He is a workaholic. I think WWE has really prepared him for that.
“I was crazy. I said to her,” Look, I have goose bumps now, this is so real. ” There is this scene that we have in the gym where he talks to the press, and that was the very first time that I also heard him speak.
“That was a strange thing. I was very impressed. I thought,” Wow, this guy. “
The Rock's MMA Skills Certified by Ex-Champion
The MMA training images of Dwayne Johnson looked good for the untrained eye, but has he done enough to impress a man who lives and breathes the sport?
Former heavyweight and slightly heavyweight Bellator champion Ryan Bader will portray UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman in 'The Smashing Machine'.
Bader shared against some of the greatest hunters of all time during his 40-bout career, shared the cage with Jon Jones, Fedor Emelianenko, Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson, Rashad Evans and many more MMA icons.
So hardly anyone is better placed to judge Johnson's fighting skills after they have seen them up close.
“Yes, he looked good,” said Baderer
“I am not going to say that he looked like a man who has been fighting for 20 years, but he clearly works hard. He went in there and did a training camp with real MMA hunters to get his skills to look good.
“I have seen a little bit of the playing, and they look good. Like I said, he worked super, super hard, and was actually in excellent condition, as he is always. Big old guy.”
