After another memorable season of Premier League football, the Sky Sports Football writers have come together to choose their end-season gongs that include everything from the best game, to the most striking save and young player.
Best player: Mohamed Salah
When a player breaks the record for target statements in a 38-game Premier League season and relieves his team to the title, this category makes quite a routine. Step ahead, Mo Salah.
The Liverpool star brought its game to new levels at the age of 32, placing career-best figures for assists to deal with his enormous appetite of goals. Yes, Virgil van Dijk has been leading at the back, yes, Alexander Isak and Declan Rice have shown to Newcastle and Arsenal respectively.
But Salah has been involved in more than 54 percent of Liverpool's goals. Simply, they would not have won the title without him. Peter Smith
Best manager – Arne Slot
Nuno Espirito Santo needs an honorable mention here. Nottingham Forest was tipped for relegation by some, but he led them to the European places. If the season ends in the qualification of Champions League, it would have been an incredible campaign for the boss of Nottingham Forest.
Eddie Howe is also a worthy candidate after leading Newcastle United to Carabao Cup Glory and possibly the Champions League, but it's hard to look past Arne Slot.
Many thought there would be a drop from Liverpool after the exit of Jurgen Klopp, but Testament to The Job Slot did in Anfield, that was not there.
His first season in English football ended in the title, which is an incredible achievement.
Signing the season: Nikola Milenkovic
Nikola Milenkovic has had an incredible debut season for Forest. The summer signing of £ 12 million has been an important role among Nuno and fans have surprised at the brilliant partnership that he has forged with fellow center-back Murillo.
Milenkovic is in the top five for duel success, both on site and in the air, mixed with Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
The 27-year-old Serbia International has also caught four goals for Forest this season, which Dean Huijsen simply poked that seemed to be in his short but fantastic spell in Bournemouth.emilie mwanza
Dear young player: Myles Lewis-Skelly
It became pretty clear after the full debut of Myles Lewis-Skelly that he would become something big.
The first Gunners start of the teenager -back -back came in December, but there was simply something about him -his football arrogance, his ability to take the ball under pressure without fear or mistakes and his consistency.
Since then he has become the first choice in that role and with the left role of England also at his feet-a meteoric and undisputed rise.
And there will be more – expected that Lewis -Skelly will go to midfield in the coming years. Sam Blitz
Best game: Newcastle 3-3 Liverpool
Last season, the two, Man City and Arsenal, served a few contrasting classics, starting with a bad, but intriguing classic with four goals in the Etihad in September that seemed to go to the visitors of the visitors-until John Stones' Damed 98th-minute Equalizer the home fans are having a little players.
The return meeting in the Emirates in February perhaps was missing that tension, but the quality of the five-star display of Arsenal that tore the champions more than it apart, with the young left back Myles Lewis-Skelly who showed him as our young player of the year.
Our game of the season, however, contains the champions, although it is not their drama-filled 2-2 draw in the last Merseyside Derby in Goodison Park in February when James Tarkowski thundered a 98th-minute equalizer to make the famous old ground shake.
It is rather Liverpool's visit to Newcastle United at the beginning of December that the striking match of this campaign was and not just because it ended 3-3! The collision in the northeast had all the ingredients that form a classic, are played under the St James' Park Lights, which thereby produced an electrical atmosphere, and many goals, including a competition for strike of the Magpies Forward Alexander Isak season and then late drama when the hosts pointed to things.
All in all, a real football party to present the sparkle of the Premier League. Rich Morgan
Best goal: Kaoru Mitoma [Brighton vs Chelsea]
“The touch is almost everything we will see in the Premier League this season. It is messi-like.”
The description of Sky Sports' Jamie Carragher summarized the goal of Kaoru Mitoma against Chelsea perfectly. Mitoma could have asked for higher praise than compared to Messi, one of the biggest ever to play the game.
The touch to bring down the long point of Bart Verbruggen is sublime, the turn and change of direction to create space for the shot is sensational, and the beaten finish in the bottom corner with a special Premier League moment.
Save of the Season – David Raya vs Aston Villa
Matz Sels and David Raya have held more clean sheets this season than any other Premier League goalkeeper, so it should be no surprise to see their names in this category heavy.
In fact, Sels' player-of-the-match has performance to prevent Liverpool from having all three points in Nottingham Forest in January.
There Were Several Other Saves That CAUGHT THE EYE DURING THE SEASON, SUCH AS EMI Martinez Displaying Ridiculous Reactions to Prevent Chris Wood's header from Crossing the Line At The City Ground in December, Andre Isola Sarring to deny to deny starr Somehow Keeping Out Mohamed Salah's Close-Range Strike at the London Stadium Before Christmas.
However, the nod goes to the aforementioned Raya, who helped Arsenal Aston Villa to bring their only home loss in the competition this season with a simple ridiculous second half to keep the header of Ollie Watkins out.
The Arsenal No. 1 first had to touch Amadou Onanan's bent shot on the bar before he immediately got up again and pushed away in the safety of the Point-Blanco header of the English striker, with Gary Neville cried on comment: “How Raya responds, wow!” Rich Morgan
Best moment: James Tarkowski's Late Equalizer vs Liverpool
A moment that will live in history forever. James Tarkowski crashes equalizer in the last Merseyside Derby in Goodison Park in a 98th minute. Forty -one wins each for Everton and Liverpool at the Grand Old Lady. Forever. Playing hit on our video above and drink again in those extraordinary scenes … Peter Smith
Ruben Amorim's self -removing quote from the season
Too much to choose from. The head coach of the man Utd is relegation level on the field, but four -time winning in the press conference space.
“We are perhaps the worst team in the history of Man Utd,” it wins. That came in January after loss for Brighton. Nobody actually expected he would continue … Sam Blitz
Jones knows the best tip of the season
For the fifth season, a profit season is guaranteed with the best bets in the column that leads to +18.7. It has been a bumpy ride with almost -missers and losing points, but the winners have fluttered nicely. A enchantment of Betting against Manchester City at short prizes before it was trendy to do this, indeed made me very smart, in which I called the victories for Tottenham (0-4), Bournemouth (2-1) and Brighton (2-1) a memorable enchanting correctly.
There were Longshot Treble's victories on 10/1 and 14/1 -A special highlight was the map of Joelinton for Newcastle at Aston Villa who copied the Treble after Brentford Brighton and Palace and Bournemouth beat under the 2.5 goal line in a 0-0 draw.
And we have finished the season strongly and have a nice 10/1 winning corner on 32+ errors that are being committed in the Europa League Final.lewis Jones
Jones knows' worst tip of the season
Learning to be wrong is an important part of keeping a healthy headroom when it comes to making gambling decisions and putting your neck at stake. And I had a lot of practice this season.
Let's start with Tottenham to finish in the top four and Dominic Solanke to score 20 or more goals, will we be on 12/11? Or what about Leif Davis – the Ippswich Assist -ing of a full back – about whom I was enthusiastic in the Top Assist -Markten in the preseason on 100/1? Only one assist was it Leif? Oh well.
My lecture for most of the season in the newly promoted teams was even downright ugly. Thinking that Leicester was a “Barnstorming Prize” to beat Everton in Goodison Park on 7/2, the drain quickly went off after just 10 seconds when Abdoulaye Doucoure sent the hosts on their way to the most comfortable 4-0 win you would probably ever see. Lewis Jones.
