Bruno Fernandes doubts his future in Manchester United after the Europa League final and Saudi Pro League-Kant al-Hilal are interested in signing him
The Captain Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United is said to have decided until next week whether he wants to stop Old Trafford after having offered £ 200 million deal by Saudi Pro League Side al-Hilal after a bumper.
United is planned for a big revision this summer and Fernandes admitted after the last defeat of the club of the club that he would understand if they decide to sell him. “If the club thinks it's time to separate because they want to come up with some money or whatever, it's what it is,” he said.
“And football is sometimes like that. I've always been honest. I always said that I will be here until the club tells me it is time to go. I would like to do more to be able to take the club to the great days.
“On the day the club thinks I'm too much or it's time to separate, football is that way, you never know. But I have always said it and I keep my word in the same way.”
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Al-Hilal is interested in signing the midfielder and they are ready to offer United about £ 100 million for their talisman. The report adds that a three-year deal of £ 700,000 a week and up to £ 65 million a year in add-ons is on the table.
It is claimed that Al-Hilal will make a formal offer of Fernandes in the coming days and that it will be given until the end of May to make a decision, whereby the club wants to complete the deal prior to next month's club.
Despite the terrible season of United, Fernandes has made an impression with 38 target contributions in 56 performances in all competitions. As a result, United Boss Ruben Amorim wants his captain in Old Trafford.
“I think it's easy to understand that [transfer speculation]Not only because of the numbers, but also the way he plays, “Amorim said earlier this month.” He is a top player and we have to play players.
“He is a leader, the captain. It is of course that people want Bruno, but we want to keep him. He is one of the top players in the world.”
United could, however, be forced to cash in after their 1-0 defeat against Tottenham in the final of the Europa League, the club cost £ 100 million because they missed a place in the Champions League of next season.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has supervised a series of cost -saving measures since buying an interest in the club and United will also have to pay a fine of £ 10 million to sponsor Adidas for missing the Champions League.
