Liverpool -Baas Arne Slot has thought about the challenges of living of his family during his first year in Anfield.
Slot, 46, enjoyed an incredible debut season with the Reds after he became at Feyenoord last summer, making the club to the Premier League title with four more games.
The Dutchman's family – including wife Mirjam, son Joep and daughter Isa – stayed in the Netherlands while moving to Liverpool in an attempt to ensure that the education of the children was not disturbed.
Their family life has taken a hit in the past year with parties such as birthdays and Christmas affected by the demands of the Premier League, although Slot – who lives alone – has publicly recognized the positive impact of Mirjam's – alternating support and sacrifices.
Slot, however, spoke with the Dutch Outlet advertisement, open on its struggles to permanently get rid of loved ones.
“Everyone who is married and has a good marriage, I think I do that, would like to see the children and the woman a little more,” he said.
“My wife comes by a few days every two weeks, the children unfortunately even less.”
The Van Slot family was present when Liverpool insured the Premier League title against Tottenham last month, while they were seen when attending other competitions.
And lock, who revealed that Isa will withdraw with him for three months before he studied English in Manchester, admitted that his rising fame in a management -Superster also had an impact on them.
“She (Mirjam) finds that attention the most difficult part of our lives,” he added. “She already had that with Feyenoord.
'She also prefers take-out food instead of sitting together. She feels different that she is being monitored or rated. '
