Tudor concedes Juventus have fallen short of their potential this season

Igor Tudor believes that Juventus was brought into the Serie A this season in the Serie A, even though he is about to seal a Champions League spot on Sunday.

Juventus travels to the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo to combat in their last league match with humble Venezia, knowing that a victory will be enough to seal a place in Europe Elite Competition.

The Tudor team finds a point for the fifth roma placed, while Lazio, who is one place further back, could also conquer a top four place if the results were going in their direction.

The revival of Juventus in Vorm fell together with Tudor's arrival in the club since he took over from Thiago Motta in March, who had endured successive humble defeats before he was fired.

The Bianconeri have a favorable record against Venezia and win 16 of their last 20 Serie A meetings (D3 L1), although Juventus has struggled under the term of Tudor.

Juventus did not indeed succeed in winning one of their four out of the league games under Tudor (D3 L1). The last Bianereri -Baas who lost their first five Series A -road matches was Cestmir Vycpalek, who knew five draw in 1971.

“Numbers and calculations are not part of my way of thinking. Juve's potential is greater than what we can see now,” Tudor told reporters.

“For me this team has done almost nothing wrong. The team gives me confidence for tomorrow. The team wants to take what is of them. The team is there.”

Despite their arms away, the OPTA -SUPERCOMPUTER Juventus hands over a chance of 70.8%to finish in the top four, compared to Roma (24.5%) and Lazio (4.8%).

But although the luminaire has enormous meaning for Juventus, it also comes with pressure for Venezia, who fight to stay in the division.

They are 19th in the table, two points on Drift by Empoli and Lecce, which are confronted on the last day opposite Hellas Verona and Lazio respectively.

But they come in good shape in the competition, after they have won two of their last three Home League matches (L1), including their most recent against seventh Fiorentina.

“We both need (head and heart). It is an important match and we have to concentrate on things on the field,” Tudor added.

“I am happy with the work I did and I want to take this last step to complete everything.”

Tudor said that midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, who had sustained an Achilles tendon injury last month, had trained with the team, but did not say if he was ready to play.

“Renato (Veiga) and (Weston) McKennie had problems, but they trained with us today,” the coach added.

Tudor, who spent almost a decade with Juventus as a player, said he wanted to help his players to do better, with the club that would compete at the World Cup next month.

“I want to do my best to help my players. I want them to understand what we can do at Venezia and where we can improve,” he said.
