Bournemouth defeated Leicester City 2-0 in the Vitality Stadium on Sunday, with Antoine Semenyo on the double day of the Premier League season.
After they have lost their last two games, Bournemouth completed another positive campaign on a winning note thanks to one of their stars from 2024-25.
Leicester already had difficulty creating any notes, with their best opening within the opening of ten minutes and Oliver Skipp volley that flew over the bar.
But Semenyo illuminated the game in the last 16 minutes of the normal time and broke the impasse in the 74th before he insists in the second in the 88th, with the last goal up by Dean Huijsen on his last game before he goes to Real Madrid.

The best opening of Leicester came early when Skipp found room in the penalty area, but the midfielder could not keep his volley low with the goal of Kepa Arizabalaga.
Both Evanilson and Justin Kluivert dragged wide from the post in the first 15 minutes, while David Brooks had saved a volley after an excellent cross by Marcus Tavernier.
Illia Zabarnyi's Gedempte Header of the Looping Cross of Tyler Adams brought the opener for Semenyo, whose shift shot found a way past Jakub Stolarczyk.
The second strike by Bournemouth followed 14 minutes later when Boubakary Soumare lost the possession to Huijsen, before the departing defender Semenyo came up to shoot past Stolarczyk and to close a triumphant end to another nice campaign.

On the contrary, Semenyos Double has made it 58 Premier League goals for Bournemouth this season, their most in one campaign, while reaching 200+ shots on Target for the first time (202).
Semenyo also scored his 10th and 11th Premier League goals of the season and achieved double digits for the first time in a competition season.
It was also one -way traffic on the south coast, with Bournemouth 1,79 gathering expected goals to 0.27 from Leicester.
