It seems that we will see Belal Muhammad earlier in the Octagon instead of later.
The former UFC champion Welterweight tasted his first defeat in six years when he lost his title to Jack della Maddalena on UFC 315.
It was primarily a striking battle between Muhammad and Della Maddalena, where Mohammed said he was going to the game plan.
Despite the unanimous loss of decision, the 36-year-old Belal Muhammad still has the feeling that he is the best in the world and it is planning to prove it against whom the UFC places for him.

Jon Anik claims that Shavkat Rakhmonov is the next opponent of Belal Muhammad
On Sunday, UFC Play-by-Play commentator Jon Anik revealed details about the return of Muhammad-one rebooking against undefeated competition Shavkat Rakhmonov.
“I am glad that he has an undisputed Weltergewigtkamping Riem at home and I am happy that he was married to the game,” said Anik about Muhammad on the Anik & Florian Podcast.
“We will see what Shavkat Rakhmonov has for him in October.
“Belal vs. Shavkat in October, there is your latest news,” Anik said about the Welterweight matchup.
Muhammad was initially planned to experience the #3-ranged Rakhmonov for the Welterweight title in the main event of UFC 310 in December. However, an injury forced Mohammed from the map and Rakhmonov fought Ian Machado Garry in a title -eliminator instead.
The UFC tends to go to Abu Dhabi for their pay-per-view events in October, which could be a potential meeting place for Muhammad vs. Rakhmonov-that means, when it happens …
The manager of Shavkat Rakhmonov says that the fight of Belal Muhammad is not 'in the making'
It would not be long before the Rakhmonov's manager would catch the wind of Anik's comments.
After a lot of fanfare for the Welterweight fight, the manager of Rakhmonov, Daniel Rubenstein, confirmed that Rakhmonov vs. Muhammad is not in the making.
“Lol no, it is not,” Rubenstein noticed on a report from the fight.
Although it may not be in the making at the moment, a fight between Muhammad and Rakhmonov can be logical in the future if Jack della Maddalena defends the title against Islam Makhachev.
Rakhmonov was considered the first title defense of Muhammad after beating Machado Garry, but della Maddalena beat him up when Rakhmonov had to be offside because of a torn MCL.
